GI oncology pathways: from prehab to advanced cancer
Gastrointestinal (GI) cancers are frequently associated with a high risk of malnutrition throughout the disease course, from early treatment phases to advanced stages, with a significant impact on treatment outcomes, tolerance, and quality of life.
Despite increasing recognition of the importance of early nutritional intervention, integration of structured nutritional care within GI oncology pathways remains heterogeneous in clinical practice.
This webinar will explore best practices for embedding medical nutrition into pancreatic and lower GI cancer care pathways, with a focus on practical, multidisciplinary approaches across the continuum of care.
