Advancing equality: improving availability of radiation oncology and of essential cancer drugs
The growing recognition of health disparities has highlighted the need for equality in cancer care. Social drivers of health, such as socioeconomic status, race, and access to resources, significantly impact patient outcomes, caregivers, and clinical teams.
Achieving health equity in cancer care involves addressing these barriers, expanding access to treatment, and ensuring that all patients receive the care they deserve, regardless of background.
